Day of the Dead is a historical three-day event that occurs on Halloween through the 2nd of November. The Hollywood Forever Cemetery celebrates its annual tradition by defining the culture with art, food, and family to come together for past love ones. I wanted to illustrate a skull by painting it to give that old feel, especially with a rustic vintage layer wallpaper. The font is light, simple, and easy to read for the viewer. The colors are warm to show how the fall is related to the era and the authenticity this poster brings to the culture.
